QUICK START
How cribbage works
Two players race to 121. Each receives six cards, discards two into the dealer's crib, and uses a single cut card (the starter) while counting.
In pegging, play cards without letting the running total exceed 31. Score two for 15 or 31, two for a pair, six for three of a kind, twelve for four, and points for consecutive runs. The last card or a go is worth one unless it makes 31.
Next, count the nondealer's hand, dealer's hand, then dealer's crib. Hands score for fifteens, pairs, runs, flushes, and his nobs.
Beginner explains each hand. Pro requires you to enter the hand total. An opponent can call Muggins on points you overlooked. This test build automatically tallies pegging in both modes. AI difficulty affects discard decisions, pegging choices, and the chance of miscounting a hand in Pro mode.
